First, Jesus Claimed to be God.
Next, many people today say that Jesus is not God, but he was just a “GOOD MORAL TEACHER”. This argument shows that Jesus cannot be just a “GOOD MORAL TEACHER” Who do you say Jesus is?
So, if Jesus claimed to be God, that claim is either TRUE or NOT TRUE
NOT TRUE
– If it is NOT TRUE, that makes Jesus either a LIAR, or a LUNATIC (crazy)
LIAR – It doesn’t make sense that Jesus was a liar because leading so many people astray about such an important issue does not line up with what he taught to be true, nor with how he lived his life. He cannot be a “GOOD MORAL TEACHER” if he is lying about something so significant
LUNATIC – If Jesus just thought he was God but really wasn’t, that would make him a lunatic. It would be like you genuinely believing that you are George Washington. But Jesus’ sound teaching and wisdom do not line up with someone who is crazy. And you would not call someone who is a lunatic a GOOD MORAL TEACHER.
TRUE – So, if it is TRUE, then we only have one option. If Jesus said he was God and that is TRUE, then JESUS IS GOD!
We then have two options – ACCEPT Him, or REJECT Him as our Lord. (Making him Lord means turning our lives over to Him, giving him the rights of our lives.)
