1) Are You Tolerant?- Video (4:35)
Great video that follows a conversation about tolerance and how to wrestle with how it is ok that there is only one way. There is a lot here and for younger students you may need to take it a piece at a time, but it’s a great conversation.
2) Is Jesus the Only Way to God?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDAQQ-xPy8I”
This is a good perspective on how we can claim that Jesus is God.
3) Do the Math/The Only Answer
Write simple, single-answer math problems for students to answer.
Ask:
Are there any other solutions to the problems?
How sure are you about your answers?
When we have life problems to solve, what are some answers?
What is the only correct answer to our life problems? (Jesus/Bible)
4) Conversation Art Cards – Does God Exist?
Use great art to spur great conversations about life’s greatest questions, such as:
- Does God exist?
- How would one know?
- If He does exist, what is He like?
- How would His existence change anything about my life?
If your students like talking about these difficult questions, continue your discussions beyond the TOUGH QUESTIONS series with the DOES GOD EXIST? Conversation Cards.

3) Musical Mingling
Students mingle to music and shake hands. When the music stops, everyone must find another person & shake hands. The leader calls out a question they must ask of whomever they are shaking hands with. Use both fun and serious questions. What is your favorite pizza? What is your favorite kind of weather and why? What would you do with $1,000 dollars cash right now? Why is it important to have fairness? What factors define fairness? When was a time you were treated unfairly?

1) Miracles by Eric Metaxas- book
Click here. Chapters 4 & 5 of Miracles by Eric Metaxas contain great science facts to back up intelligent design.
2) Why Science Hasn’t Disproved Christianity– video (4:22)
Click here. Science has given us so many good things, from microwave ovens to mobile phones. Upholding Christianity doesn’t mean we have to disparage the benefits of science. If you want to enjoy the microwave oven, you can also believe in God at the same time. There’s nothing incompatible about science and believing in God. It’s actually the way we understand science that’s the problem.
